An album made up of three HeadShy EPs, The Head, Heart, and Base Chords, they combine across velvet stained lounges in a darkwave americana for the soul, while gothic jazz floats across waves of minimalistic trip-hopped grooves before falling into oceans of melancholic depth. Touches of Portishead sadness filter through 4AD-ish haunting neo-psychedelic pop, like what might happen if R.E.M. joined with The Devics to cover songs by Nick Cave and Nina Simone.
