Sister 05:02
So closed down You're weak, soon you'll drown You think a razor makes you feel alive Deep enough allows you to survive Time slows down - The world still spins around They'll give you a reason to come but you'll never love anyone Take a razor cut your worldly ties Deep enough, no need to say goodbye Goodbye Cold, cold in the ground No second chance to turn it 'round You think a razor makes you feel alive Deep enough to touch the hurt inside

Lead Me Home 03:27
So, so we see what we're made of and Don't, don't be afraid, this is how I Know, I know we've got what it takes to Throw, throw away all our mistakes and Lead me home Stop, stop what you're doing, it's quite a Show, show me you mean what you say and Go. go and make the attempt I Know, know we can make it there, just please Lead me home Somebody take me out of here I couldn't stay here full of fear So why don't you take me back or Leave me on my own Time, time is our side I think you Know, I know there's a reason you can't let Go. go and try to be free I Know, I know we'll be fine if you'd just please Lead Me Home

Don't lie, you don't know why you're here and you don't see things so clear. I can tell that you don't, you don't know who you are You never could see that far. I know Now you're gone and bound to live alone and your sun has passed but you can't go home Goodbye, but you're never really here and you have so much to fear. I know that you don't, you don't know who you are You never could see that far, I can tell Now you're gone and bound to live alone and your sun has passed but you can't go home Sometimes the truth is so bitter clear and so very hard to hear. You can never go home

Faith 05:13
You've given them everything, but they'll always want something new You know it's true They've taken your reason, left you with nothing, they always do But you'll shine through Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down Don't ever believe them, they'll smile and then tell you “you are through” It's never true Hey, you can deceive them, they're looking for people who know the rules. A ship of fools Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down Guilty people don't believe in fate Don't be afraid to come outside Just breathe the air and feel alive Don't be so, don't you be so down Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down Wait, don't be down, just have some faith don't be down The world keeps on turning, your heart keeps yearning for something new. You’re never through

The Head Chord - EP1 (Darkwave Americana / Southern Gothic) from La Belle Epoque Triple EP
Watch the video for Coma! www.headshy.com/video

Now this is a concept LP. An album made up of three HeadShy EPs, The Head, Heart, and Base Chords, they combine across velvet stained lounges in a darkwave americana for the soul, while gothic jazz floats across waves of minimalistic trip-hopped grooves before falling into oceans of melancholic depth. Touches of Portishead sadness filter through 4AD-ish haunting neo-psychedelic pop, like what might happen if R.E.M. joined with The Devics to cover songs by Nick Cave and Nina Simone. Lisa Lipkin’s vocals feel timeless in their beauty, like you’re lying on a bed of sorrow with murder ballad pillows, waiting for love to give you that sly little wink before it vanishes into the moonlight." - THE BIG TAKEOVER (Spring issue #74 on stands now)
